Heavy-Duty DUCHTING

DÜCHTING PUMPEN specializes in heavy-duty centrifugal pumps for highly abrasive, corrosive, and solids-laden fluids. Unlike standard pump suppliers, DÜCHTING’s core philosophy is application-specific engineering, producing primarily single-stage (horizontal and vertical) and multi-stage radial-partition casing pumps.

The cornerstone of DÜCHTING’s technology is its proprietary SICcast® material – a high-performance composite of silicon carbide (SiC) and epoxy resin. With a hardness exceeding 9.5 on the Mohs scale (approaching diamond, 10).

In select pump series, all wetted components (impeller, casing, wear plates, shaft sleeves) are manufactured from solid SICcast®. This eliminates the need for rubber linings or coatings that can delaminate or swell.

DÜCHTING does not offer standardized "catalogue pumps." Each unit is hydraulically matched to the customer’s specific fluid properties (viscosity, density, solids size/shape, pH, temperature) through a design-build process. While this results in higher initial capital cost, the extreme wear resistance of SICcast® delivers significantly lower total cost of ownership (TCO) through reduced maintenance and extended pump life.
