Slurry Habermann Aurum

Habermann Aurum manufactures slurry pumps for the transport of abrasive, solids-laden fluids. These pumps are designed for applications where the pumped medium contains suspended particles, such as sand, gravel, sludge, or mineral tailings. Slurry pumps can be configured as either dry-installed (horizontal or vertical) or submersible, allowing operation when fully immersed in the pumped medium.

The pump housing and impeller are constructed from wear-resistant materials to minimize erosion caused by solid particles. Hydraulic passages are optimized to reduce flow resistance and allow the passage of coarse solids without frequent clogging. Submersible versions feature fully sealed motor housings with appropriate cable entry and thermal protection for continuous submerged duty.

Sealing systems are configured for slurry service, preventing ingress of abrasive particles into the bearing housing. Drive options include direct electric motor or belt drive for dry-installed units, while submersible units use integral electric motors.
